Retracing the history of the valuable mementos of Lord Byron preserved in the museum dedicated to him is a fascinating exercise — all the more so when the main characters appear in person. Geoffrey Bond did just that, together with his wife Dianora, in this autumn so full of surprises for the Byron and Risorgimento Museums.

In Baku, President Mattarella reminded us that we Italians are the world’s leading exporters of culture, and this ability to connect the world unites us with the Museums inaugurated by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna,” said Rector Giovanni Molari, as he received the ‘Silver Crozier – Lifetime Achievement Award’, an honour bestowed by the Accademia degli Incamminati during a ceremony held this morning in the Sala Muratori of the Biblioteca Classense.
Micromosaic jewellery is currently on display in Palazzo Guiccioli, as part of the active participation of the Byron and Risorgimento Museums in the Ravenna Mosaic Biennale, taking place in Ravenna from 18 October 2025 to 18 January 2026. The exhibition is organized in close collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna.
A major highlight of the 2025 edition of “È Cultura” – the national event organized by the Italian Banking Association (ABI), headed by Antonio Patuelli – is the free admission to the Byron and Risorgimento Museums for the first time during this event.
The Byron and Risorgimento Museums welcomed another high-profile guest: internationally renowned singer and composer Riccardo Cocciante paid a surprise visit on Friday 3 October, around 5pm, accompanied by his French wife Catherine Boutet.
