The Byron and Risorgimento museums take centre stage at the liceo artistico e musicale “Nervi-Severini”

The new educational initiative created through the collaboration between the Liceo Artistico e Musicale “Nervi-Severini” of Ravenna and the Byron and Risorgimento Museums aims to help young people gain a deeper understanding of Byron’s presence in Ravenna and to grasp the profound meaning of a museum: transforming cultural heritage into something vital and meaningful. The initiative emerged from the encounter between Professor Leonarda Pezzi and the Director of the Museums, Alberta Fabbri, who shared both the vision and the opportunity to develop a joint project.

The Byron Museum Once Again the Focus of Attention

The Byron Museum will once again be the focus of attention, this time in London. On Tuesday 27 January at 6:00 p.m., at the prestigious headquarters of the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgravia, in the elegant heart of the British capital not far from Westminster, the Italian Byron Society (President: Ernesto Giuseppe Alfieri) and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna, which owns the Byron Museum (President: Mirella Falconi Mazzotti), together with the Municipality of Ravenna and the Italian Cultural Institute in London, are promoting a major cultural event entitled “Byron: Love, Landscape, Poetry and History in the City of Mosaics.
