In Byron’s footsteps, Music and Passion with the chamber ensembles of the Cherubini Orchestra 5, 12, 19 September – three musical evenings in the palace’s inner courtyard

Those ideals of beauty and passion that inflamed Lord Byron—poet, lover, and rebel—shine through the pages of Mozart, Beethoven, Donizetti, and Mendelssohn, performed by the chamber ensembles of the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra in the romantic heart of Ravenna: the new museum complex created by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna dedicated to Lord Byron and the Risorgimento.

The Byron and Risorgimento museums open evenings: every wednesday from july 2 to august 27

The Byron and Risorgimento Museums can now be enjoyed in a wholly new way; the stories of the English poet and the Carbonari, of Garibaldi and Countess Guiccioli will exert a special fascination on those visitors and journalists from all over the world who explore the enchanting palazzo and its noble courtyard in the twilight and amid the shades of summer evenings. This is the exciting novelty for July and August 2025: visitors to Ravenna will find the Byron and Risorgimento Museums open in the evening every Wednesday from July 2 to August 27, until 10pm, as part of the “Mosaico di Notte” programme.
