A card that allows you to visit the Byron and Risorgimento Museums as often as you wish throughout 2026: this is the special initiative promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna, chaired by Mirella Falconi Mazzotti, to celebrate the first year of the Museums, which were inaugurated on 29 November 2024.
The card is available at the Museums’ ticket office and costs €10. It is personal and reserved for residents of the province of Ravenna. Cardholders may enter the Museums (providing proof of identity) as often as they like — even just to examine some specific item, to linger over one of the many stories presented by means of some of the most innovative multimedia installations in the world, to explore a detail missed during a previous visit, or simply to extend a stroll through the city centre or to return with friends and relatives, acting as ambassadors for the extraordinary history contained in these Museums. These are among the very few museums set up in the very places where the events they recount actually took place.
The card (also available for purchase online at https://bit.ly/4qjafPo) is valid for a year and allows holders to feel fully at home in these Museums, which in 2025 attracted attention from media around the world. Proof of this is the recent feature on the Byron and Risorgimento Museums in the prestigious London Review of Books. Shortly after Christmas, two more British journalists will visit the Museums to give a detailed report on the rooms dedicated to Byron, Garibaldi, and the Risorgimento.
